Son of William Wyndham Hasler, of Aldingbourne, Chichester, Sussex (Source : C.W.G.C.).

Registered on the Roll of South Africans who fell 1914-1918 edited after the War by the South African authorities.

Died of wounds on the 18th September 1916. The 2nd Grenadier Guards (1st Guards Brigade, Guards Division) attacked near Lesboeufs on the 15th September.
